Putonghua (Mandarin)
Interest Class

Learning multiple languages is much easier if children start learning and being exposed to the languages at a young age. Therefore, as an international kindergarten, we also offer Putonghua (Mandarin) classes for children. We have four types of courses for various levels and learning objectives.

Bilingual Fun

This course is designed to develop confidence, social interaction skills and communication skills in English and Putonghua. The teacher encourages young children to develop social and communication skills through stories, songs, cooking and artwork.

1st Session – 10 lessons, small class teaching

  • Age: K1 to K3
  • Class Time: Friday 3:30pm – 5:00pm
  • Tuition Fee: HK$3,000 (covers 10 lessons)
  • Application Fee: $ 100 (Non-refundable)

Putonghua Speech Training Class

Course Features:

  1. Focus on the teaching of speech skills, such as pronunciation, use of tone and emotional expressions.
  2. Increase student’s confidence, improve Putonghua level and expressive ability.
  3. By the end of the class, if the teacher feels that students have achieved an exam standard they will be recommended to participate in the public competition. The registration fee of the competition is paid by parents.
  4. A certificate of attendance will be given if students attend at least 80% of the lessons.

  • Age: K1 – K3
  • Class Time: Tuesday 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuition Fee: HK$2,500 (covers 10 lessons)
  • Application Fee: $ 100 (Non-refundable)

Putonghua GAPSK Exam Preparation Class

Course Features:

  1. Comprehensively trains student’s listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
  2. Enhance student’s interest and confidence in learning Putonghua through interactive teaching.
  3. Make use of official textbooks, comprehensive and more targeted content.
  4. Introduction of Putonghua GAPSK Exam Preparation Class: GAPSK Exam focuses on listening and communication skills. Assessment is done through games and activities in the areas of speaking, listening and reading. Students from K1 to K3 are eligible to enroll in the exam.
  5. By the end of the class, if the teacher feels that students have achieved an exam standard they will be recommended to participate in the public competition. The registration fee of the competition is paid by parents.
  6. A certificate of attendance will be given if students attend at least 80% of the lessons.

  • K1:
    • Group 1
      • Class Time: Monday 3:30pm – 4:30 pm
    • Group 2
      • Class Time: Saturday 11:15 am – 12:15 pm
  • K2 & K3:
    • Class Time: Wednesday 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • Tuition Fee: HK$3,200 (covers 10 lessons)
  • Application Fee: $ 100 (Non-refundable)
