Putonghua (Mandarin)
Interest Class
Learning multiple languages is much easier if children start learning and being exposed to the languages at a young age. Therefore, as an international kindergarten, we also offer Putonghua (Mandarin) classes for children. We have five types of courses for various levels and learning objectives.
Mandarin Fun!
This program aims to encourage children’s verbal express in Mandarin through thematic activities such as role playing, story telling, singing songs, vocabulary and phrase building in a fun learning environment.
- Small class teaching: Maximum 7 students
- Target: Ages 3-4
- Class Time: Friday 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm
- Tuition Fee: HK$3,000 (covers 10 lessons)

Mandarin Sing & Play
Course Features:
- Interactive and themed teaching approach.
- This course is designed to provide children opportunities to enhance social, intellectual, spiritual and physical development through with stories, songs, creative work and sensory games that ensure children to learn Mandarin in a fun environment.
- A certificate of attendance will be give if students attend at least 80% of the lessons.
- Small class teaching: Maximum 7 students
- Target: Ages 2-3
- Class Time: Monday and Wednesday 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm
- Tuition Fee: HK$3,000 (covers 10 lessons)
- Application Fee: HK$100 (Non-refundable)
Putonghua Pinyin and Oral Class
The course is taught through different forms of learning activities such as storytelling, reading rhymes and pinyin games. Children will learn the whole set of the Pinyin system (initials, finals and sounds. This course aims to develop children’s pinyin skills and teach them how to accurately distinguish tones and master Pinyin rules so as to enhance their ability to express in Putonghua.

- Class Time: Thursday 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm
- Tuition Fee: HK$3,500 (covers 10 lessons)

Putonghua Speech Training Class
Course Features:
- Focus on the teaching of speech skills, such as pronunciation, use of tone and emotional expressions.
- Increase student’s confidence, improve Putonghua level and expressive ability.
- By the end of the class, if the teacher feels that students have achieved the standard they will be recommended to participate in the public competition. The registration fee of the competition is paid by parents.
- A certificate of attendance will be given if students attend at least 80% of the lessons.
1st Session – 10 lessons, small class teaching

Putonghua GAPSK Exam Preparation Class
Course Features:
- Comprehensively trains student’s listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Enhance student’s interest and confidence in learning Putonghua through interactive teaching.
- Make use of official textbooks, comprehensive and more targeted content.
- Introduction of Putonghua GAPSK Exam Preparation Class: GAPSK Exam focuses on listening and communication skills. Assessment is done through games and activities in the areas of speaking, listening and reading. Students from K1 to K3 are eligible to enroll in the exam.
- By the end of the class, if the teacher feels that students have achieved an exam standard they will be recommended to participate in the public exam. The registration fee of the competition is paid by parents.
- A certificate of attendance will be given if students attend at least 80% of the lessons.

- Intermediate: Saturday 11:45 am – 12:45 pm
- Advanced: Friday 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm ; Saturday 9:45 am – 10:45 am
